We here at Boombox are going to celebrate Easter with us out on the sand. We are running one of our favorite formats with a little bit of a twist!
Co-Ed Mash-Up with a TWIST Format
- Sign up with a partner of the SAME SEX THIS TIME
- Throughout pool play, you’ll be randomly paired with four different teams
- Compete on two different net heights:
- Men’s height for standard co-ed
- Women’s height for reverse co-ed
- Great chance to meet new players and maybe even find the perfect fit for a future 4’s team!

Tournament Schedule:
- Check in: 10:30
- Ball in the air: 11:00am
- Pool Play: 11:00-1:30pm
- Bracket Play: 1:30-6:00
- Finals approximately: 6:30
Times are subject to change and could fluctuate on length of games as well as warm up times.
Rules/Tournament Format:
- Pool play will be 4 games to 18, no cap, switching sides on intervals of 7. All teams will advance to bracket play.
- Bracket play: All games will be single games to 21 win by 2 no cap, switching sides on intervals of 7. Each team will receive one 60 second timeout per game. All of bracket play will be a double elimination. Loser’s bracket will be 1 single game to 21 win by 2 no cap. When you have your first loss in bracket play there is a possibility you will switch your pair that you got after pool play to give yourself another shot for competing for the championship!
- Rules: Each pairing will stay together as they compete to get the highest seed in pool play which will allow them to be paired with the high seed of the other gender!
- We would need exactly 8 female and 8 male pairings to make this format work! So grab some friends and encourage others to play

- Prizes are TBD. Anticipate Swag, gift cards, and potentially $.
